New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Controller to lead the company's accounting and finance functions. This position is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, process improvement, and supporting executive leadership with financial planning and operational strategy.
Essential Duties:
- Lead and mentor the finance team across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
- Oversee cash flow and financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Implement financial systems and process improvements.
- Support ERP implementations and organizational growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 10 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including Controller experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience leading accounting teams and improving financial processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, financial software, and data analysis tools; Sage and QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel as needed.
