Job Title: Engineering Support Specialist
Location: Bloomington Ill
Pay Rate: $21-$23
Schedule: 7am-4pm M-F
The Support Specialist provides Technical Support to internal and external clients resolve resolving hardware software and systems issues this onsite role also supports remote locations and is responsible for hardware installations software upgrades system integrations and IT troubleshooting the role applies engineering principles to system design development testing and documentation while supporting technical solutions that meet customer requirements This position collaborates with cross functional teams including development manufacturing and quality insurance compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Description:
Provide 1st and 2nd line support for desktops networks tester system servers and end user devices both on site and remotely. Install configure patch upgrade and maintain hardware software and applications in line with life cycle policies. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software network and connectivity issues. Monitor system and equipment performance analyze downtime and implement corrective and preventive actions. Lead in support installation of cables equipment and service assist engineers with a new system setup and testing. Evaluate system and recommend improvements repairs and root cause solutions to enhance reliability.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field looking for five years experience in networks and systems maintenance and IT support
