Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and professional Substitute Teacher for a long-term assignment during the 2026–2027 school year. The Substitute Teacher will provide classroom instruction, maintain a positive learning environment, and support student success during an extended teacher absence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction and follow lesson plans as the assigned Substitute Teacher
- Maintain classroom management and student engagement
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Follow district policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Substitute or Teaching Certificate required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience as a Substitute Teacher preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule & Compensation
- Weekly- pay
- Full-time during the assigned school term
- Compensation based on district pay guidelines and experience
