English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher

Position Overview:
The ELL Teacher supports English learners in developing language skills to meet academic standards. This role includes co-planning, co-teaching, and providing targeted instruction to meet the diverse linguistic and cultural needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess language proficiency and academic needs
- Deliver push-in/pull-out support and small group instruction
- Collaborate with classroom teachers on lesson planning and delivery
- Track student progress and maintain documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Communicate with families and staff regularly
- Participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education
- Valid Missouri teaching certificate with ELL endorsement
- 3 years ELL teaching experience preferred
- Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
- Experience in urban education settings preferred
