Divisional Controller – Drilling Division (Kingwood, TX)
$180,000–$200,000 Bonus | Full-Time | Hybrid (3–4 Days Onsite)
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Divisional Controller to serve as the senior financial leader for our Drilling Division. This key leadership role partners with the Division President and works closely with the CFO to drive financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term value creation across global operations. The Divisional Controller oversees a high-performing finance team and ensures alignment with corporate financial policies and global reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, forecasting, and Division-level reporting.
- Provide strategic insights to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
- Oversee global financial operations, including plant controlling, FP&A, costing, transfer pricing, and capital management.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting and strong internal controls across the Division.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations.
- Lead and mentor a global finance team, fostering collaboration across Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering organizations.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting, consolidation, costing, transfer pricing, and multinational operations.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and manage cross-functional, global teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced financial modeling in Excel.
