Flexible Assembly Systems Inc specializes in providing custom engineered robotic solutions. We provide turn-key automation equipment with a strong emphasis on robotics.
We are currently seeking a Robot Systems Programmer to become an integral part of our team! You will perform programming support on FANUC robots for new turnkey systems. As a constantly expanding business we are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our experienced and dedicated team.
To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in programming industrial robots and possess a high level of detail when following customer standards and programming structure.
In addition to the required robotics skills, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and must be able to interpret drawings and schematics. This position will include travel for service, installation, start-up and debug.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have FANUC Robot programming experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of automated systems, a good understanding of the basic theory of robotic control and integration related to function, programming, training, and safety.
- Ability to troubleshoot and interface with program machine controls
- Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide field support to customers and travel when required (up to 20%).
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well with others, team spirit, flexibility with personal schedule to meet deadlines and support business travel.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive work ethic; strong people skills; positive attitude
- Results driven individual with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows based programs to include Excel, Outlook, and Word
Responsibilities
- Optimizing robot programs to increase production efficiency
- Performs a variety of miscellaneous job duties, as directed by management.
- Monitoring and performing program changes when necessary
- Assisting production to conform to set quality standards
- Continually improving production efficiency with regards to robot programs and operations
