SUMMARY
This position requires solid computer skills and the ability to multitask with simultaneously running processes.
Automated Band Saw Operator, Weld Ring Roller, Electrode Grinding, Fixture and Heat Treat Assembly/Disassembly, Heat Treat Operator, Oxidize Operator, Forklift operator
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate and troubleshoot issues as they arise with the heat-treat operation.
- Operate a tape measure and computer interfaces.
- Optimize work schedule to maximize uptime for heat treat.
- Operate and effectively use heat treat software.
- Must communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure heat treat runs smoothly and mistakes are avoided.
- Work with the machining and scheduling department to prioritize operations.
- Operate and effectively use the band saw software.
- Operate and effectively use a manual lathe to roll copper and steel weld rings.
- Must work very closely with the team leader and co-workers.
- Must assist other operators and support production needs as required.
- Thrive on challenges.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, environment.
- Always be willing to work overtime as required.
- Maintain an organized and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
