Marine Joiner Supervisor – Ship Repair
Position Summary:
Supervises and directs production crews performing marine vessel repair and installation work while ensuring projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and productivity requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead craft employees on vessel repair projects.
* Coordinate work with the Operations Manager and Superintendent.
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, procedures, and project specifications.
* Supervise and perform installation of marine joiner panels and ceilings.
* Ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available.
* Monitor work quality and productivity.
* Identify and correct workplace safety hazards.
* Participate in safety meetings and prepare JSA/JHA documentation.
* Complete required project paperwork and basic computer tasks.
Requirements:
* Marine/shipyard experience preferred.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
* Experience with marine joiner installation.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong knowledge of shipyard safety practices.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed.
Pay: DOE – determined based on experience and interview.
Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
