What a typical day looks like:
- Leads multiple production processes/lines in a highly technical manufacturing environment to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets.
- Manages and develops teams of engineers, supervisors, and operators through coaching, training, and performance discussions.
- Monitors daily operational performance, troubleshoots issues, and drives efficiency, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material availability to meet customer demand.
- Leads process development, plant improvement, and cost‑reduction projects, providing technical and operational guidance to project teams.
- Ensures full compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards, including certification, training, and upkeep of a safe, clean work environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of operations experience.
- Demonstrates deep technical and functional expertise with broad knowledge across multiple technologies, processes, and functions, including understanding site‑level process interdependencies.
- Exhibits advanced people, process, and customer relationship management skills, effectively leading teams and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
- Applies strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, including data analysis, business reporting, technical documentation, presentations, and practical use of mathematical and operational concepts using standard business tools.
