Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Machine Operator’s role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining automated production equipment while monitoring quality and inventory to ensure efficient, high-standard manufacturing.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Machine Operator’s role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining automated production equipment while monitoring quality and inventory to ensure efficient, high-standard manufacturing.
What a typical day looks like:
- Review schedules and procedures to set up equipment, including loading components, feeders, and stencils.
- Start and monitor automated machinery, making real-time adjustments to keep production within control limits.
- Inspect products against specifications, performing reworks or equipment adjustments if quality drops.
- Track inventory, record process data, and monitor the shelf life of chemicals and sensitive parts.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and follow proper cleaning and shutdown procedures.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; 1-2 years of machine operation experience and completion of company training.
- Able to read complex instructions and clearly share information with teammates and supervisors.
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings/blueprints and using measurement tools like calipers and protractors.
- Ability to perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for weight and distance measurements.
- Use independent judgment to solve practical problems and follow instructions in various formats (written, or diagrams).
- Able to take direction from leadership and make decisions that positively impact the team's output
