Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team Hauling sand and gravel. Loads will be around north Texas and southern Oklahoma. The yard is located in Howe Texas, must have reliable transportation. Most of the time you will over the road. Must be willing to stay in your truck for a week at a time and home on weekends. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor trailers. Experience with belly dump trailers and 13 speed manual would be great! Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission across assigned routes.
- Willing to stay over the road for a week at a time.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify potential mechanical issues or safety hazards before and after each trip.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving to ensure safe transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) over the age of 25 with a clean driving record.
- Atleast 2 proven years of experience in operating tractor trailers,including 13 speed manual transmission
- Some experience in belly and end dumps.
- Ability to pass a regular drug screening
- Willing to stay over the road for a week at a time, home weekends.
