Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Pendleton, SC. This role is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving tire products within the warehouse, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed. Day-to-day tasks include receiving inbound shipments, verifying quantities and condition, organizing inventory in designated storage locations, and preparing outbound orders by packing and staging products for shipping. The Warehouse Associate helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, follows standard operating procedures, and works closely with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and accuracy goals. This role may also assist with basic inventory counts, documentation, and communication with internal logistics and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with shipping & receiving and basic warehouse operations, including verifying orders and managing documentation.
- Hands-on skills in packing and staging outbound orders to ensure products are prepared accurately and securely for transport.
- Ability to safely perform unloading and general material handling tasks for tires and related products.
- Proficiency in forklift operation and use of pallet jacks, with a focus on safe and efficient movement of inventory.
- Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members and supervisors.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
