What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Store Clerk/Cashier position at Flex-Staff?
Our client is seeking part-time STORE CLERKs. Candidates must have the availability to work 20-25 hours/week during 8AM to 6PM, Monday-Friday, as well as rotating Saturdays. Once training is complete, you will receive a $1.50/hour increase, and you are also eligible for a $1/hour attendance incentive pay from day one. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist customers by answering questions, giving them direction or advice in person or on the phone and taking product orders.Check out customers at the cash register by providing prompt and courteous service. Keep the store shelves fully stocked, labeled, and rotated. Take special orders and follow through to completion with the customer.Maintain a clean, dusted, and well-organized store.Keep register area organized and supplied: bags, boxes, register tape, cash on hand, etc.Communicate any problems or concerns to the store manager.Efficiently use the computer and inventory books for resources.Assist in the overall operation of the store to insure a comfortable, professional atmosphere for customers.Help customers carry purchases to their vehicles.Miscellaneous duties as directed.Conduct yourself in a professional, courteous manner at all times.Take direction from supervisor and complete tasks on time.Working Conditions:The work setting is usually maintained at average temperature, but the position requires entering multiple coolers and walk-in freezer for short periods of time. #EauClaire1Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to carry and transfer products from one place to another.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Math skills to accurately make change for customers paying with cash.Good verbal and written communication skills with English fluency.Experience working on computers with the interest to learn new programsExperience with a cash register is a big plus.Ability to interact professionally with a variety of customers Pass a background checkPass a drug test TO APPLY:Send your Resume to eauclaire@flexstaff.comApply online at www.flexstaff.comCall 715-855-8155 for more details.
