Welder/Fabricator
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Pay: $24ph
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 4pm - 2:30am
- Training: Must be able to train on 1st shift (Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4pm)
- Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Overview:
Our client in Manitowoc is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team. This role focuses on MIG welding and fabrication of custom metal components from blueprints in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to fabricate parts to precise specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel components according to blueprints and welding specifications
- Fabricate custom metal parts and assemblies to precise tolerances
- Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Follow all welding safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Work closely with team members to ensure production goals and project deadlines are met
- Opportunity to learn and assist with robotic welding systems

- Hands-on MIG welding experience with steel

- Fabrication experience building parts from drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- TIG welding experience
- Robotic welding experience
