Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Pay Rate: $26/hour 

Hours: 40 hours per week, 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday

Length: Temporary to Hire

Location: Oshkosh, WI (on-site)

Requirements: 

• 1 year accounting experience including accounts payable and receivable experience
• Microsoft Excel knowledge
• A pleasant and positive attitude, go getter who takes initiative
• Reliable with a strong work ethic, team player 

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Enter invoices, receipts and payments 
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents 
• Prepare and process customer invoices 
• Post payments and maintain accurate customer account records 
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures 
• Maintain vendor and customer files and account information 
• Follow up on outstanding invoices 
• Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies 
• Assist with HR filing
• Assistant to the Controller to help with tasks and projects as needed
