Starting Pay Rate: $28.00 (after 3 months $28.50, after 6 months $29.00)
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am, with mandatory overtime as needed

Responsibilities
- Maintain spray paint equipment and operate paint robots to support production and ensure proper functionality
- Check and verify that parts are being painted correctly and meet quality expectations
- Communicate all production information, concerns, and updates to paint mixers, tackers, lab technicians, team leads, supervision, and other departments as needed
- Maintain and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production continuity and assist with troubleshooting when equipment issues occur
- Hand paint products in paint booths when equipment is down to maintain production requirements
- Arrive early or stay late to cover vacations or absences, sometimes with little notice
- Demonstrate exceptional attendance to maintain employment in this position
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to maintain spray equipment and operate paint robots safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to verify paint quality and production standards
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and communicate effectively with multiple departments
- Must be able to demonstrate understanding of health and safety compliance training programs and departmental work instructions written in English
- Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility required
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Required to wear a paint suit while working in tack booth or paint booth areas
- Must successfully complete respirator certification requirements
- May be required to hand paint products during equipment downtime to maintain production flow
- Must be able to carry bumpers weighing up to 50 pounds for distances of 15–25 feet
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach above head and below shoulder level, talk, and hear
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Required to push, pull, reach, and lift materials throughout the workday
- Medical electronic devices are not permitted in explosive areas, including hearing aids, continuous glucose monitors, and similar devices
- The work environment is representative of conditions typical for a manufacturing facility. Guardian West is not a climate-controlled facility. Safety precautions must always be followed to reduce exposure to hazards
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and loud environments
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration
- Paint suit and respiratory protection required in designated work areas
- Work environment noise level is typically loud
- Employees cannot bring medical electronic devices into explosive areas
