- Actively performing job duties as required in Maintenance Technician position
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses
- Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Assesses and prioritizes work requests and ensures material required for the work is available
- Follows up on work orders to ensure job specifications (quality and quantity) and time lines are met
- Coordinate regular preventative maintenance on daily equipment and facility
- Communicate with Manufacturing Supervisor’s throughout the shift to understand prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shift
- Understand strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls
- Monitor team members progress throughout the shift
- Ensure all employees are working together in an effective and cooperative manner to complete job requirements as quickly and completely as possible per work instructions and standard work
- Main contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and/ or General Manager
- Perform pass down meeting with next shift and daily report to Maintenance Manager
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Ensure the application of all Flex-N-Gate’s safety policies and procedures
- Provide necessary training and instruction to others
- Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the workday
- Assist with completing reports for all safety issues, work place injuries and environmental incidents immediately upon notification
