Position Overview
As a Physical Therapist at Flex Forward PT, you will work directly with patients for the entirety of each session, allowing you to provide individualized care, build meaningful relationships, and focus on quality outcomes—not volume. This role is ideal for a PT who values autonomy, active rehabilitation, and patient education.
Schedule: 8–15 hours/week to start, transitioning to full-time (~30–35 visits/week) within 90 days
Compensation: $45–$55/hour
Location: In-person | 1033 Progress Dr., Grayslake, IL 60030
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy for the full duration of every visit—no techs, no aides
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized, goal-driven plans of care
- Apply evidence-based, manual therapy and movement-focused interventions
- Utilize VALD ForceDecks and DynaMo technology for objective outcome tracking and performance testing
- Educate patients on biomechanics, injury prevention, and long-term self-management strategies
- Document efficiently within PT Everywhere (EMR) and maintain accurate BCBS billing compliance
- Track patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed.
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team to deliver exception patient experiences
- Represent the Flex Forward brand with professionalism and genuine patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current Illinois Physical Therapy license (or license-eligible and actively pursuing)
- Strong orthopedic and manual therapy clinical skills
- Strong clinical reasoning skills
- Dry Needling certification (preferred)
- Specialty background or focused experience in sports rehabilitation or ACL injury management (preferred)
- Comfort with or eagerness to learn sport science testing technology (VALD)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient engagement skills
- Self-directed, coachable, and aligned with a high-standard clinical culture
- Interest in fitness forward, active rehabilitation
