Electrical component supplier of busbars, custom cable assemblies, wire harnesses, fabricated sheet metal and assemblies. Serving the battery, aerospace, defense, automation, energy storage and mobility industries, with expanded product lines to include laser cutting, machining, resistance welding, robotic dress-out components, servo cables, and motion control cables.
Role Description
This is a full-time, remote, hybrid or on-site Metro Detroit are role for an Electrical Component Estimator. The Electrical Component Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. They will communicate with vendors and customers to obtain general and specific information regarding their needs, as well as evaluate potential changes and their impact on project completion.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and customers
- Technical skills and knowledge in electrical components and assemblies
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for estimating and project management
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Experience in the manufacturing or electrical industries is a plus
