After Care Program Instructor
Flex has current openings for part-time Program Instructors in our aftercare programs at Inspired Teaching Demonstration School. MUST have a passion for “making a difference”. The position is Monday through Friday during the school year-hours are 3:00 p.m.-6:30p.m. daily but may vary.
The Program Instructor will:
- Work well with a variety of groups including fellow staff, school personnel, families, and children.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for our students
- Lead instruction in the program using Flex approved curriculum and other resources
- Demonstrate effective classroom management techniques
- Communicate effectively with families regarding behavior and daily activities
Program Instructor Qualifications:
- Strong problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Have a passion for education
- Comfortable with technology (phone, laptop, etc)
- Perform other duties as directed
- Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree
- Must be able to meet and stay current on state specific licensing requirements
