Role Description
Fletcher/CSI is seeking Senior Analysts for our Technology, Financial Services (FinServ), and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) practices. Senior Analysts work predominantly in one practice/industry sector but support other practice areas as needed. Senior Analysts work directly with Fletcher’s Fortune 500 client base, supporting strategic and tactical decisions by conducting secondary and primary research (mostly qualitative, interview-based research) and analysis as members of larger project teams. Core projects focus around Competitive Intelligence, Win/Loss analysis, and Voice of Customer studies.
A significant part of the job is identifying contacts that can provide pertinent information, securing interviews through persistent outreach, conducting probing interviews that generate impactful insights, analysis, and preparation of client-ready reports.
Senior Analysts participate in project meetings and client conference calls and work with senior team members to finalize client deliverables and presentations. Analysts are expected manage their hours to meet project deadlines and adhere to overall project budgets.
Senior Analysts generally have 2-5 years of experience in the Technology, Financial Services, CPG, or related industries.
Candidates should be proficient with MS Office products and have strong analytical and writing/communication skills. Experience with AI tools is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Majors with clear applicability to our target industries (e.g., business, information technology, intelligence studies, marketing/sales, economics, and life sciences) are a plus, but FCSI welcomes candidates with other majors that are eager and willing to learn.
The position is hybrid for Vermont-based employees and remote for others.
Qualifications
- Strong research, data analysis, and analytical thinking skills
- Proficiency in reporting, data visualization, and crafting strategic insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders
- Experience with client engagement, team collaboration, and problem-solving
- Advanced proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, CRM software, or business intelligence platforms is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
- Prior experience in industries such as Life Sciences, Technology, Finance & Insurance, or GPG is beneficial
