Fletcher Tilton PC is a respected mid-sized law firm specializing in estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate paralegal to assist attorneys with guardianships, conservatorships, and estate administration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file guardianship and conservatorship petitions
• Prepare various probate pleadings including those for estate administration, guardianships, rogers authority, and conservatorship
• Draft probate pleadings, inventories, accountings, and other court documents; Prepare probate inventories, accountings, and other court documents
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing parties
• Assist with all aspects of estate administration, including asset collection, distributions and estate tax returns
• Maintain case files and track deadlines to ensure timely filings
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for attorney review
• Support attorneys in court proceedings and hearings
Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate administration, probate, or guardianship matters; Prior experience as a paralegal in estate administration, probate, or guardianship matters preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Familiar with probate court procedures and rules
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously with great attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to conduct legal research and draft legal documents
