What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investor Relations & Business Development — Alternative Investment Firm position at Fletcher Search?
A well-established DFW investment firm is adding a senior business development professional to drive growth on the investor side. The comp structure is straightforward: year one is salaried, then transitions to a draw as performance bonuses begin compounding. If you can raise money, this pays very well. If you need a large base to feel safe, this isn't the right fit.
What the comp actually looks like
- Year one target: ~$300K total (salary bonus) at $30M raised
- Steady-state: $600K–$750K all-in at $40M per year
- Includes cash bonus and long-term participation in the platform
- No cap — upside scales with production
What we're looking for
- A genuine track record raising capital from private wealth channels — not coverage, not marketing
- Existing relationships you own and can move
- Comfort with alternative or private market strategies — real assets, credit, yield-oriented products
- 5 years in a production role, boutique or independent environment preferred
- Based in DFW or willing to relocate
Salary : $40 - $300,000
