Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Registrar/Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper
Location of Position: Fletcher Elementary
Fletcher Elementary is seeking a professional, dynamic, and flexible team member to serve in the role of Elementary Administrative Assistant. This person will be primarily responsible for coordinating attendance, coordinating substitutes, answering telephone calls, welcoming students, parents, visitors, and vendors. Coordinating mailings, coordinating classroom budgets, ordering supplies, supporting and collaborating with administration, staff, and other administrative assistants to support the functioning of the school. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, flexible thinking, and needs to collaborate easily with others. Knowledge of PowerSchool helpful. An understanding of the strictest rules of confidentiality are imperative to success within this position.
Current major duties and responsibilities:
1. Supporting functions of the school as a whole
2. Registrar/management of student records in Powerschool
3. Responsible for daily attendance and safety calls
4. Responsible for front office: answering phone calls, greeting parents, visitors, and vendors, and providing positive communications with community when representing the school
5. Maintains systems and protocols that are necessary for a well functioning school
6. Oversees Powerschool, courses, class lists, school calendar
7. Manages bus routes
8. Oversees time sheet preparation for all hourly employees
9. Determining official for the Child Nutrition Program/Free and Reduced Meals Program
10.Responsible for purchase order system/Accounting Software
11. Responsible for accounts payable/ processing monthly invoices
12. Preparing accounts for annual audit
13.Assists principal in coordinating mailings/notices to parents and community
14.Tracks middle school and high school tuition students
15.Liaison for FOFE communications to families
