What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager position at Fletcher Business Group?
The Fletcher-Terry Company is looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of our product portfolio. You'll own assigned product lines from market insight through launch and lifecycle, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations. You’ll also take a hands-on role in making data-driven decisions about where our portfolio goes next and build our development process with the support of leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for assigned product lines, aligned with business growth goals
- Track product performance (revenue, margin, market share) and recommend actions to improve it
- Build and implement a structured product development process (stage-gate or similar)
- Lead new product projects from concept through launch using that process
- Gather customer and market insight through VOC, competitive analysis, and input from sales and distribution partners
- Support pricing decisions and margin analysis
- Partner with sales and marketing on launches, sales enablement, and positioning across dealer, OEM, and ecommerce channels
- Contribute to portfolio initiatives, including assortment consolidation and SKU rationalization
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in product management or product marketing in B2B manufacturing or industrial products
- Hands-on experience with a formal product development process (stage-gate, phase-gate, NPI, or similar)
- Hands-on involvement in bringing a product to market or managing a product line
- Comfort working with numbers, including pricing, margins, and sales data
- Ability to work across teams and move projects forward without direct authority
- Clear communication, strong organization, and reliable follow-through
- Familiarity with multi-channel distribution (OEM, dealer, ecommerce)
- Experience with NetSuite or another ERP/CRM system

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
