AGRONOMY SALES Representative | Fleming Feed & Grain

Fleming Feed & Grain is looking for an Agronomy Sales Representative to join our team and serve farmers throughout the Butler and Riley County areas.
We are a family-owned company that believes farming is about more than products and bushels—it's about relationships, trust, and doing what is right for the customer.
We’re looking for someone with agronomy experience who can build strong relationships with farmers and help them make decisions that improve their operation.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers
- Provide agronomic recommendations and solutions based on each customer's operation
- Sell seed, crop protection products, fertilizer and other agronomy services
- Scout fields and work with customers throughout the growing season
- Develop new customer relationships while taking care of the customers we already have
- Work closely with our agronomy and grain teams to provide excellent service
- Stay up to date on agronomic products, technology and farming practices
- Be a trusted resource—not just a salesperson—for the farmers you serve
What We're Looking For
- Agronomy experience is strongly preferred
- Agricultural background or experience working directly with farmers
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to build trust and lasting customer relationships
- Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of your territory
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your time
- A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
- Ability to understand and explain agronomic products and recommendations
