NW Journeyman

Fleming Electric, Inc. is recruiting Electricians to join our growing company. We are seeking self-motivated professionals to advance their career with our team in NW Arkansas. If you have at least 3 years of experience in the electrical trade & are classified as a 3^rd or 4^th year apprentice, don’t miss this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing various types of wire & conduit
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
• Keep work area, machines, tools, and equipment clean
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery in the performance of these essential duties
• Respond to service requests from dispatch office Communicate with dispatch center, manager, customers, and peers
• Have a firm understanding OSHA, MCC, and site-specific safety procedures

• High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years electrical experience is required.
• Applicant must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must have an Active Arkansas Journeyman license
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time as well as lift 25lbs above the head.
• Good driving record
