Pay: $14.50.00/hour
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid state issued Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
- Must pass a driver safety skills test.
- Ideal applicants have open availability, a great work ethic, and are dependable.
The Gate Attendant monitors the entry gate and is responsible for documenting vehicles entering and exiting the rental car facility, provides a pleasant exchange with customer upon exit to ensure customer service standards. Reports and communicates relevant information to customers and co-workers, and proactively responds to issues or concerns. Completes required paperwork according to Company procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Track documentation for all vehicles exiting the facility.
- Scan vehicles with assigned devices.
- Process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets, etc.) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form.
- Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets.
- Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.
- Occasionally walk the parking lot to monitor for unauthorized personnel and contact management and/or law enforcement as necessary.
- May be required to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the Company’s maintenance checklists.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Regular attendance per FleetLogix’s attendance policy is required and is an essential function of the position.
