Job Position: AP Clerk/ Accounting Assistant
Job Type: Part-Time (approximately 25hrs week)
WEEKLY Pay: $20.00 - $25.00hrly
Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can serve as an AP / AR Clerk. A successful candidate will exhibit a commitment to excellence and integrity by striving to perform all tasks with utmost accuracy and efficiency, maintaining a positive attitude, and demonstrating a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in all financial documents. This role will assist in both AP and various other accounting duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process, verify, and reconcile a high volume of invoices.
- Prepare and process checks and electronic transfers and payments.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounting process.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Great attention to detail.
- Experienced in using QuickBooks
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills & the ability to collaborate with staff members.
Education:
- Associate's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- 2yr experience in AP.
