Responsibilities
- Support the transportation of materials to various sites following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment on busy construction sites.
- Assist in equipment inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates smoothly and safely throughout the training lifecycle.
Experience
- No prior experience required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to paving and concrete work.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols, including DOT regulations and construction site safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Able to pass DOT physical, drug test
- No DUI in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No major accidents within the last 5 years
