Job Summary:
With direction from senior and executive leadership, the Manager, Implementation manages and oversees a team of Implementation Project Managers. Provides overall coordination and management to client program/product implementations and solutions for specific product lines within the Comdata’s Corporate Payments portfolio. This position also collaborates with the sales division to ensure the provision of effective presentation and implementation sales support as well as timely and well-executed project launch plans. This position may assist in leading projects for large and/or key clients to ensure that all scope, quality, and scheduling targets and requirements are met. Also – this role is critical to managing work and relationships with other internal teams. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs and ensures that internal projects/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Core Responsibilities:
Possess an in-depth knowledge of the functions and problem solving necessary for optimal and fully successful client implementation engagements
Maintains full accountability for team members meeting procedural and performance standards
Collaborate with team to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement – focused around scalability and automation
Coach & mentor team members in the fulfillment of current responsibilities as well as professional development
Act as project sponsor and as primary point of escalation and maintain internal Service Level Agreements
Manage internal projects or initiatives based on senior and executive leadership needs including, but not limited to (strategic initiatives,
Actively contribute to meeting departmental, team and individual goals, including but not limited to (revenue attainment, cost containment, operational efficacy measures, etc.)
Ability to travel to customer for onsite meetings (when necessary)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the job
5 years of experience in a professional work environment
2 years project management
2 years as a manager of people
Accounting knowledge is preferred
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills and attention to details
Intrinsically driven and intellectually curious
Demonstrates ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent communication skills – dynamic to the audience at hand per interaction
Superior customer service skills, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues; ability to analyze customer processes and provide creative solutions for implementation
Familiarity with project management software, tools and techniques
Ability to make suggestions for process improvements to address project quality, cost reduction, cycle time and/or productivity
