Shop Helper / Repair Shop Hand

Position Summary
Fleet XL is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to assist our service department with daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, and is interested in learning more about trailer and equipment repair.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and maintain shop floors and work areas
- Wash and detail trailers, trucks, and equipment
- Clean and wash out trailer interiors
- Assist technicians with repairs and maintenance projects
- Move equipment and trailers around the yard as directed
- Organize tools, parts, and shop supplies
- Dispose of trash and recycling materials
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Perform other general labor and shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required
