Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following specialized experience:- Experience applying extensive knowledge of operational maritime forecasting and expertise in utilizing climatological data.
- Experience applying knowledge of climatic regimes and forecast techniques applicable to marine forecasting in all oceanic regions including the tropics, midlatitudes, southern hemisphere, and polar regions.
- Experience with the development of accurate and precise short and medium-range marine forecast for locations with large weather extremes and limited observational data.
- Experience applying comprehensive knowledge of naval operational meteorology and maritime forecasting.
