The Business Development Representative plays a key role in driving company growth by maintaining strong relationships with current customers and creating new opportunities across all departments — Sales, Leasing, Rentals, Parts, Service, and Graphics.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with “core” accounts through communication, problem-solving, and customer appreciation initiatives
- Engage with “local” accounts to grow business and elevate them to “core” account status
- Reach out to “transient” or out-of-state customers to increase revenue opportunities
- Develop a deep understanding of our industry and departmental support structure
- Generate and track leads across departments while ensuring timely follow-up and execution
- Monitor pricing trends and market activity
- Provide constructive feedback to improve company performance
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and opportunities
- Track and maintain customer engagement and participation
- Organize and attend customer and company events (lunches, appreciation days, etc.)
- Attend industry trade shows and conferences as needed
- Assist with branded merchandise (shirts, hats, cups, etc.)
