Cousino Restoration & Environmental is seeking an experienced Contents Superintendent to join our Perrysburg, OH team!

Summary:

The Superintendent- Contents plays a critical role in providing disaster recovery services to residential and commercial clients. This position focuses on packing out personal property, conducting detailed inventories using smart cellular phones, and performing various cleaning tasks to restore contents and structures after disasters. The technician must adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.  

 

Responsibility: 

  • Manage multiple contents and cleaning projects simultaneously 
  •  Manage a team of 6-10 leads and technicians
  •  Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all projects
  •  Pre-planning jobs - materials, labor, etc. to meet expected profitability goals
  •  Create a production schedule for every job
  •  Participate in all training as required by position
  •  Locate and utilize subcontractors and initiate subcontractor agreements
  •  Provide timely communications with customers, subcontractors, adjusters
  •  Explain procedures for handling non-salvageable items
  •  Responsible for visiting job sites as needed, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Candidates must be experienced in leading teams and be able to speak professionally with customers and insurance personnel and encompass a team mentality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with customer service, employee management, and scheduling/coordination of crews

  

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in team management preferred
  • High level of accountability for self and others
  • Ability to train and coach process, protocol, and policy as needed
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Able to continuously bend, kneel, squat, and list heavy objects as needed (upwards of 50 lbs.).  Packing and moving items from one location to another.
  • Safety focused - able to wear various forms of PPE (personal protective equipment); respirators, masks, Tyvek suits, goggles, etc.
  • Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check in accordance with company policies
  • Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with company policies
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen in accordance with company policies

 

 Working Conditions: 

  • Work in environments that may be dirty, wet, or hazardous, requiring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work in dirty and/or wet conditions as needed, maintaining a focus on safety and cleanliness.
  • Handle cleaning, deodorization, and antimicrobial products daily, ensuring proper safety precautions are followed.
  • Wear work-appropriate shoes and PPE as required for job site conditions.
  • Be prepared for occasional overtime to meet project deadlines and respond to emergency situations.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items (up to 50-75 pounds), particularly when overseeing the packing, moving, or restoration of contents. Lifting and moving large items, such as furniture or boxes, may occasionally be required.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods, especially when supervising job sites, coordinating with staff, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, reach high shelves, or maneuver in tight spaces as needed to inspect or manage inventory and contents. Reaching both above shoulder height and to the floor is often required.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling are necessary when checking inventory, organizing storage areas, or managing packed items in confined spaces.
  • Ability to handle and manipulate tools, packing materials, or technology for inventory management, such as scanning devices or labeling equipment.
  • Occasional travel may be required to other locations within the region (training) and throughout MT for large loss opportunities


Salary: $28.00-$30.00 plus overtime and on-call bonus
