What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Truck and/or trailer technician apprentice position at Fleet Repairs?
Overview
We are seeking heavy duty truck and/or trailer technician appretince or shop helper.
We are a small shop and we will train if you have mechanical experience and want to learn, work and earn a good wage.
Hourly pay DOE and great benefit package with uniforms, holidays and vacation. We offer quarterly tool bonus, health insurance stipend and yearly bonus. Hours are somewhat flexible (days - no nights or weekends).
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience with hand tools
This is a full time position and you must have reliable transportation and some mechanical aptitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
