What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Mechanic position at Fleet Masters Truck & Trailer Repair Inc?
Responsibilities of Diesel Mechanic:
- Repair diesel equipment
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Our diesel technician will be responsible for all maintenance of our fleet
- As a diesel technician you will work in a clean safe environment
Qualifications of Diesel Mechanic:
- Previous experience as a technician/ diesel technician
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of diesel technician experience preferred
- diesel technician training is provided as well
