Overview: The food runner’s primary responsibility is to deliver fresh, high quality food to guests in a timely and efficient manner. The food runner works closely with the expo to ensure all dishes are plated properly. The food runner also assists with table maintenance and removes used tableware between courses.

- Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours and lift 30 lbs.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Garnishes all dishes accurately, wipes plates, and delivers food to proper seat numbers
- Follows service standards
- Responds appropriately to guest requests and communicates guest requests to server as needed and assists in locating, retrieving, and delivering items requested by guests
- Fills a support role and enjoys being part of a team
- Helps servers pre-bus
- Cleans up spilled food, drinks, and broken dishes when necessary
- When bussing: Clears tables after guests, wipes tables and seats, and sweeps under and around tables
- Maintains line and condiment set-up to standard
- Completes side work as indicated on side work charts.
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement
