️ About the Role
We’re looking for a Field Manager to join our skilled and dedicated team. You’ll be part of a close-knit crew that values craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Whether you're working on a mining truck windshield or a commercial van side window, your work will directly impact the performance and safety of our clients’ fleets.
What You’ll Do
As a Field Manager at FGS, you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting ride-alongs, site visits, and technician performance evaluations.
- Assist with onboarding and hands-on training; implement a field certification process
- Oversee warehouse operations including inventory tracking, tool readiness, and material distribution.
- Manage fleet vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain job site safety and regulatory adherence (MSHA, OSHA); conduct field audits and safety trainings.
- Evaluate and improve field workflows to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Communicate performance data, resource needs, and operational updates to executive leadership.
✅ Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- 7–10 years of experience managing field technicians in a service-oriented industry
- Background in glass installation, fleet services, construction, or heavy equipment preferred but not required
- Strong leadership experience in training, safety compliance, and field performance management
- Knowledge of fleet operations and mobile service logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile scheduling/CRM platforms (ServiceTitan Experience is a huge plus!)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; local travel required
Bonus if you have:
- Certifications in auto glass installation or repair
- Experience working with fleet vehicles or construction equipment
