Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Lubricant Delivery Driver to join our Topeka team. This position delivers bulk lubricants, drums, totes, pails, and other packaged petroleum products to commercial, agricultural, industrial, and fleet customers throughout the region. Our drivers work primarily Monday through Friday, return home daily, and receive the support and equipment needed to serve customers safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks and delivery equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver bulk lubricants, drums, totes, pails, and other packaged products to customer locations.
- Load, secure, transport, unload, and accurately account for all products.
- Operate pumps, hoses, meters, liftgates, pallet jacks, forklifts, and related equipment.
- Verify products, quantities, delivery instructions, and customer tank or storage locations before unloading.
- Perform complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete electronic delivery tickets, photographs, signatures, and other documentation using a company-provided phone or tablet.
- Maintain accurate delivery, inventory, and product-transfer records.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, warehouse personnel, and management.
- Resolve routine delivery-site issues and promptly escalate safety or service concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional delivery vehicle.
- Assist with warehouse, loading, inventory, and facility duties as operational needs require.
- Participation in a rotating weekend and holiday on-call schedule for train-fuel deliveries, typically 3-4 times per year.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- HAZMAT, Tanker/Trailer Combo, Air Brake endorsements
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to meet company and insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass all required DOT pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to safely operate air-brake equipped commercial vehicles.
- Technology capable with smartphones, iPads/tablets, mobile apps, GPS, and electronic delivery systems.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including climbing, handling hoses, and moving packaged products with appropriate equipment.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
