What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Forklift Operator - $24 per hour + OT position at Fleet Force?
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced building materials warehouse . The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
7 year background check and drug test required.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain operational safety.
- Build loads based on weight distribution.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols consistently.
- Inventory MGMT experience.
