Fleet Advisor is a rapidly growing mobile fleet maintenance company serving commercial and industrial customers across the Denver metro area. We are hiring an experienced Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician to perform on-site hose fabrication, repair, and replacement to keep customer equipment operating and minimize downtime.
Job Summary
The Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician is responsible for diagnosing hydraulic hose failures, fabricating replacement hoses, and installing them on equipment at customer job sites. This position operates out of a fully equipped service vehicle and requires prior hydraulic hose experience.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair hydraulic hoses in the field
- Identify correct hose types, fittings, pressure ratings, and specifications
- Remove failed or leaking hoses and install replacements on equipment
- Operate crimping machines, saws, calipers, and measuring tools
- Maintain organized hose and fitting inventory on the service truck
- Accurately document labor, parts, and service details digitally
- Follow all safety protocols and job site requirements
- Maintain a clean, professional mobile work environment
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule (with incentive pay)
- Build strong, professional relationships with fleet and industrial customers
Required Qualifications
- Hydraulic hose assembly and repair experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience operating hose crimping equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical field work
- Comfortable working in industrial, outdoor, and mobile environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Heavy equipment, industrial, or fleet maintenance experience
- Field service or mobile mechanic background
- Experience reading hydraulic schematics and parts diagrams
- Familiarity with digital work order or service software
