Water Tech

**REQUIRED** CURRENTLY MUST BE WORKING AS A RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Office location in Frankfort, IL.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the daily on-site contact for customers, answering questions and ensuring their needs are met.
• Make initial customer contact and ensure required documentation is completed and signed.
• Assess water damage throughout residential and commercial structures.
• Carry out restoration action plans and manage on-site water technicians as needed.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, and removal of materials that cannot be restored.
• Identify, place, monitor, and remove drying equipment.
• Manipulate, move, clean, and store contents, equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Keep job sites clean and safe, including removal of job-related debris.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company truck; care for all company equipment.
• Safely use power tools and follow all safety rules, regulations, and industry standards.
• Assist with warehouse, facility, and other team-related duties as needed.
• Deliver high-quality water and fire mitigation services in accordance with industry specifications and standards.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and remain accessible by phone when scheduled.
• Complete all required training.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
• 1 or more of IICRC Restoration Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.) preferred
• 2 or more years as an experience Restoration Technician preferred
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation to the main office is required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a team environment, at heights, and in tight or confined spaces.
• Must be able to meet OSHA respirator requirements, including applicable facial-hair requirements.
• Willingness to work an on-call rotation.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service and safety.
