Jewelry Sales Associate

We are looking to onboard and train two (2) Part-Time Sales Associates to join our growing jewelry and watch retail team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with customers, staying organized, and learning a specialized industry. No prior jewelry experience is required — training will be provided, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.

You will deliver excellent customer service while helping maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming showroom, while also learning hands-on jewelry and watch skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, personalized assistance
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Assist customers with jewelry, watch, and non-repair retail sales
• Follow standard repair intake procedures accurately and consistently
• Operate the POS system for sales and transactions
• Ensure the showroom is clean and presentable at all times, including:
• Wiping down glass display cases
• Keeping jewelry neatly displayed
• Maintaining an organized sales floor
• Tag jewelry accurately and assist with inventory organization
• Take clear photos of jewelry for inventory, records, and marketing
• Assist with merchandising and restocking
• Take out trash and perform light cleaning duties as needed
• Answer phone calls professionally and assist with customer inquiries

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to learn the jewelry and watch industry
• Ability to perform and learn basic jewelry and watch services, including:
• Watch battery replacements
• Bracelet and link sizing
• Permanent jewelry welding
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Comfortable working with valuable merchandise
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge
• Retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly pay: $10–$17, based on sales experience, industry knowledge, and quarterly performance
• Commission available on non-repair retail sales
• Opportunity to increase earnings through strong sales performance

Position Details

• Part-time position (up to 20 hours per week)
• Weekend availability is required
• Opportunity to transition to full-time after 3 months based on performance
• Retail schedule (including holidays as needed)
• Paid training provided

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
