Minimum of two years related experience in a production environment and supervising teams of employee’s; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is frequently required to walk (3-6 hours per day); climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds (22.6 kgs) without assistance and move up to 600-pound (272 kgs) drums using appropriate equipment, e.g., power floor jack, drum dolly, and/or forklift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places and toxic or caustic (cleaning agents) chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Working in the warehouse may, on occasion, expose this individual to non-hazardous fumes, and noise from equipment such as forklifts and air compressor.
Working in the production rooms may expose this individual to noise from blenders, mixers, pumps, and forklifts.

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Observes employee’s execution of compounding duties to ensure accuracy and adherence to Production guidelines.
- Demonstrates techniques for employees to provide training and direction.
- Identifies problem areas with team such as understaffing, failure to adhere to policies/procedures, absenteeism, wastefulness, and takes corrective action.
- Verifies all safety rules are always followed.
- Ensures all employees compound flavors in accordance with established schedule.
- Monitors use of ingredients.
- Updates site metrics on a weekly basis, making sure all reported data is accurate.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items. Distributes items to production workers.
- Reports food safety issues to the Production Manager.
- Interviews applicants to keep location staffed sufficiently.
- Holds biweekly meeting with all reports to inform everyone of progress, address concerns and set goals.
- Monitors production to ensure all orders are produced in time to meet ship dates.
- Verifies CCP log is filled out correctly by signing off on entries on a weekly basis.
- Ensures SQF best practices
- Monitors MSS schedule. Oversees the completion of cleaning schedule.
- Help maintain site goals for OTD by ensuring all products are made on time with food safety in mind.
- Ensure compounders are following batching instructions and properly tracking their materials.
- Directs employee’s execution of compounding duties to ensure accuracy and adherence to Production guidelines.
