Job Title: Part-Time Summer Coffee & Beverage Lab Intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Lab Intern to support our day to day product testing operations. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students interested in food science, or consumer research to gain hands-on lab experience in a professional setting.
This position will have a heavy focus on brewing/tasting coffee and other beverages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples for product testing and sensory evaluation
- Set up and assist with tasting sessions, including organizing materials and ensuring hygiene protocols
- Clean and sanitize lab equipment, tasting rooms, and preparation areas
- Maintain organization of the lab space and help manage inventory of supplies and ingredients
- Assist with basic data recording and documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, or related field)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Comfortable following standard operating procedures and food safety guidelines
- Good organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
