This role ensures efficient, accurate, and safe handling of all goods, while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven team environment. The ideal candidate leads from the floor, communicates effectively across departments, and takes initiative to improve processes and meet production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Operational OversightManage inbound and outbound LTL and parcel shipments, ensuring accurate dispatch and documentationOversee daily pallet loading, shipment staging, and carrier pickups aligned with inventory and compliance standardsMaintain and adjust truck routing schedules in coordination with logistics prioritiesLead execution of specialty projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersConduct daily forklift and equipment inspections, escalating maintenance needs proactivelyServe as on-the-floor operational lead to ensure daily output goals are metMaintain warehouse cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper material handling practicesEnsure SLA adherence on fulfillment timelines, accuracy, and quality standardsCross-Functional CommunicationLiaise with Logistics, Operations, and Client teams to align on schedules, inventory flow, and shipment requirementsMaintain real-time documentation of goods movement and system updates for visibility across departmentsEscalate operational challenges, shipment delays, or product discrepancies proactivelyProvide feedback to product and systems teams to optimize WMS/OMS workflows (Shopify, ShipStation, Linnworks)Team Management & HR OperationsHire, onboard, and train new warehouse associates, supervisors, and seasonal workersManage scheduling, shift coverage, and time/attendance tracking through HRIS systemsOwn PTO tracking, payroll submission, and disciplinary documentationConduct performance reviews, deliver coaching, and manage corrective action plans when neededDrive safety and compliance training, ensuring adherence to OSHA, alcohol handling, and internal SOPsFoster a positive warehouse culture through active leadership, mentorship, and floor presenceQualifications and Skills5 years warehouse or logistics experience, including 2 years in a management roleExperience with DTC, B2B, and regulated product (e.g., alcohol) fulfillment strongly preferredProficiency in WMS/OMS tools such as Shopify, ShipStation, or LinnworksSolid understanding of LTL, parcel dispatch, routing, and cross-docking workflowsStrong leadership and team development skills with a hands-on coaching styleExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesForklift certified (or willing to obtain)Able to lift 50 lbs and work extended hours during peak seasons (OND, promotional surges)What We OfferFull-time, permanent positionCompetitive salary based on experienceComprehensive medical & dental insurance (up to 100% company contribution)401(k) participationFlexible spending accounts (FSA)Competitive PTO policyEuropean approach to parental leaveParticipation in company bonus and stock option programsEvents, tastings, and social gatheringsA young, energetic, and driven work environmentWorking with fine spirits is a big perk in itselfLife at FlaviarFlaviars culture is audacious and innovative.
