Job Description
Flatworx Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our growing crew. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who has hands-on experience with concrete setup, placement, and finishing.
The ideal candidate can confidently handle multiple stages of a concrete project, from forming and preparation through pouring and finishing, with minimal supervision.
We have work available through November, with the opportunity for additional snow removal work throughout the winter for those interested.
Responsibilities
- Set up concrete forms for driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, and other flatwork projects.
- Prepare subgrade and base materials for concrete placement.
- Install and tie rebar reinforcement.
- Pour, screed, bull float, edge, and finish concrete.
- Perform broom finishes and other finishing techniques.
- Cut and install control joints as needed.
- Safely operate concrete finishing tools and equipment.
- Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup.
- Work efficiently with the crew to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and jobsite safety.
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on concrete finishing experience required.
- Must be able to set forms, pour, and finish concrete.
- Experience with residential concrete flatwork preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation to jobsites.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Compensation & Opportunities
