Duties
Boarding, Travel, up to $60.00 per day for food all included.
- Install, assemble, and repair fixtures, doors, and other building components on various construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and adherence to project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control standards are met throughout each phase of the project.
- Perform site preparation activities such as concrete forming, framing, and flooring installation.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site related to plumbing, electrical systems, or structural components and implement effective solutions promptly.
Experience
- Experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades, helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading.
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools and power tools used in installation and finishing tasks.
- Knowledge of construction management principles and construction inspection procedures.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on diverse job sites, helpful but not required.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols in construction environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing site conditions.
