What You'll Do- Conduct comprehensive skill acquisition assessments for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and interventions to promote independence
- Perform sensory assessments and implement sensory-based therapy interventions
- Complete adaptive assessments and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, behavioral specialists, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in Person-Centered Planning meetings, clinical trainings, and Behavior Management Review Committee meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and client progress
- Attend community outings and provide therapeutic support in real-world settings when appropriate
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and evidence-based treatment practices
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans and measurable therapeutic goals
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using electronic documentation systems, computer software, and creative therapeutic media
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse personalities, abilities, and support needs
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
